    A high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class consists of short, intense bursts of exercise alternated with short recovery periods:
    Exercise: Participants work hard for 15–90 seconds at a time, increasing their heart rate to at least 80% of their maximum.
    Recovery: Participants take a short break to prepare their bodies for the next interval.
    Scaling: Intervals can be adjusted to suit the fitness level of the participants.
