Description:
Yogalates is a fusion of Yoga and Pilates. It combines the Yogic foundation of mindfulness, body awareness, strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance, with Pilates techniques that improve posture and alignment.
A Yogalates class may include popular Yoga poses, core and abdominal strengthening work, and whole body strengthening and stretching exercises. It may also include breathing, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques. Some classes may use props such as Yoga blocks, Pilates balls, foam rollers, and weights.
Yogalates will effectively increase strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance. Modifications are offered for all levels; everyone is welcome. It will leave you feeling energized, refreshed, and ready for whatever the day holds!
